It was 1988 during my sophomore year in high school when I took my first black and white photography class. I bought a used Konica camera. I was amazed when I saw the image appear on the photographic paper in the darkroom for the first time. It was if I had magic paper.
At Northern Illinois University I entered intermediate photography, and took my photography to a new level. My instructor was so pleased with my work by midterm, he stated, "this prinst is, aesthetically, printed, and by far the best conceptual image in the entire class.
